Our Approach
Auctioneer and Comedian
Dave Goldstein has acted as the auctioneer for some of the highest profile philanthropies and private clients in the United States including Facebook, UNICEF, Johns Hopkins University, The Nelson Mandela Legacy Fund for The Republic of South Africa, The Pritzker Military Museum & Library, and Steiner Sports Marketing and Memorabilia.
Dave eschews a fast-talking auctioneering style and connects with his audience with wit and warmth to raise money for his clients. His unique ability to relate to almost any audience, along with a background in big-ticket sales, makes him the ideal auctioneer.
Goldstein also consults on the process for benefits and development functions. The correct packaging and pricing of auction items are invaluable to the success of an event.
You may also recognize Dave Goldstein from one of his many appearances on NBC’s Late Night with Conan O’Brien. As a comedian, Dave has opened theater performances for Dennis Miller, handled the audience warm up for Drew Carey’s CBS TV show The Power of Ten, and been read on the Sports Illustrated website. He was an original member of the Improv group Far Beneath Gotham in New York City.
His comedy act, which has been praised by The New York Post (“…funny”) and The Asbury Park Press (“…his comic star is on the rise!”), is a blend of original writing and inspired live riffs. He has performed stand up comedy on The Comedy Network, Sirius/XM Satellite Radio, and The National Lampoon Radio Network.
